2024 Highlights: A Decade of Cybersecurity Innovation and Achievements

2024, wow. How time flies. 

2024 has been a whirlwind year for our team, and what a ride it’s been! This year meant the world to us because we pushed boundaries, connected across industries, and tackled some pretty big challenges along the way. So, without further ado, here are our 2024 highlights:

For starters, 2024 also marked a huge milestone for us—our 10th anniversary as a company! It’s hard to believe it’s been a decade of pushing boundaries, connecting across industries, and tackling some pretty big challenges along the way. 

Our team has also been growing—by over 30% this year! With each new addition, we’ve added fresh talent, expertise, and perspectives that are helping us tackle complex cybersecurity challenges and scale our impact even further. We couldn’t be more excited to see how this expansion will fuel our mission in the years ahead.

This year meant the world to us because we celebrated 10 years of innovation whilst managing to attend a whopping 24 events (yes, you read that right, 24!) covering everything from Information Technology (IT) to Operational Technology (OT), and even delved into sectors as diverse as space—talk about an action-packed schedule! Our calendars were full, but we somehow managed to survive the constant travel and back-to-back events (barely, thanks to a few too many cups of coffee). But each event gave us the chance to connect, learn, and show the world what Complete Cyber and Vault IoT are all about.

Now, about Vault IoT—our proudest creation of 2024. Developing it was no walk in the park. It felt like a marathon of late nights, “how do we fix this?” moments, and endless problem-solving. But, through sheer grit (and too much caffeine), we managed to bring this IT/OT cybersecurity innovation to life. There were times when we wondered if we’d bitten off more than we could chew, but now that it’s here, we couldn’t be more chuffed with what we’ve built.

This year, we also joined four prestigious industry memberships: Railway Industry Association (RIA), techUK, Midlands Aerospace Alliance (MAA), and Rail Business Daily (RBD), each helping us to grow as a company, enhance our skills, and make a difference in the world of cybersecurity. Whether it was expanding our knowledge or contributing to industry-wide change, sharpening our skills, and keep pushing the limits of what we can achieve, these memberships have been pivotal in our journey.

Of the 24 events, there were three major OT exhibitions that really stood out for us: InnoTrans 2024, the Cyber Horizon Consortium Event in Saudi Arabia, and the RIA SigEx 2024. These were huge moments for us—not just to present our work, but to dive deep into the heart of the OT sector and showcase how Complete Cyber & Vault IoT can change the game in rail cyber and beyond. These events weren’t just about presenting what we do; they were about connecting with the industry, learning, and showing the world how serious we are about cybersecurity and keeping critical infrastructure safe from cyber attacks. 

Along the way, we’ve worked with clients from all over the world—from our homeland The United Kingdom, to France, to Belgium and all the way to Saudi Arabia in industries as varied as finance, rail, technology, and infrastructure.

And we made history this year by releasing our first ever Press Release to officially introduce Vault IoT to the world. It marked the start of a new chapter for us and was a proper milestone in our journey.

Another major highlight for us is being named runner-up at the European Rail Cluster for Innovation, going up against some of the brightest minds from 27 EU states. It was a tough competition, but it was a huge honor to be recognized for our work and to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with some of Europe’s finest innovators. It was also a reminder that despite the challenges, our dedication to innovation is making a real difference.

Of course, it wasn’t all easy. There were moments when the sheer number of events, the pressure of developing Vault IoT, and the demands of day-to-day business had us running on fumes. But that’s part of the story too—the story of how a passionate team faced the chaos head-on, adapted, and came out stronger on the other side.

So, as we look back on 2024, with a mix of pride and disbelief (and perhaps a touch of exhaustion), we’re gearing up for whatever 2025 throws our way. We’ll be sharing plenty of snapshots from the events we’ve attended, alongside some behind-the-scenes peeks of Vault IoT—so stay tuned! 2024 has been a cracking year, and we couldn’t be more excited for what’s on the horizon.
